What do you want to be when you grow up?
Some will say they want to be a doctor, teacher, artist, or a professional.
For me, Thamarah Linda, all I have dreamed of since childhood is being a Manananggal.
I was almost kidnapped one night at home, but someone saved me.
A Boroka…
The monster was my hero.
Growing up being bullied and abandoned by my parents, all I could think about was finding my savior.
At first, it was a childhood dream that pushed me to search, but later in my adult life, it became an obsession.
Will meeting the Manananggal be a great relief or a bittersweet destruction to my younger self’s memory of a Boroka?
