Description
Salem is a child who didn’t inherit being a Kapre, he is cursed to be one. With his powerful Mahomanay father harboring the hatred of half of the supernatural creatures of all status, he is orphaned and on the run. For years, he has kept his head low and away from trouble but soon found himself saving a girl in his ‘true’ form.
Convinced he blew his chance for a peaceful life, the girl convinces him it isn’t the case. The girl he saved isn’t an ordinary girl, she’s a pyromancer and is part of a superhero duo with a cocky werewolf. Discovering that there’s a malevolent entity starved for human souls, he reluctantly dons a mask to be a part of their team. Together, they formed the Waywards; a group of supernatural misfits in Dumaguete.
Then, a person from his past comes back to haunt him. Will he be a friend to his cause or a hurdle Salem needs to deal with?
