Description
In the shadow of the engkanto’s city of Biringan looms a coming reckoning.
There, Ernesto, an engkanto, shows the mortal woman Naima the true meaning of love. She becomes his paramour and they soar through the spires of the city, hand in hand.
But there is a dark undercurrent surrounding Biringan, especially from the humans brought there from the mortal world. Rumblings from the graves of the city give the human’s pause, that is until their next kiss.
Through this all Naima is oblivious to the coming battle, content to die in the warm embrace of her love.
This is a tale of loss and bitterness, of life and death, and what comes after.
